Digitize aircraft logbooks for the shop, not a photo app

Send the paper logbooks for one aircraft. Atlas reads every page, cites every claim, and returns a Status Determination. Your shop gets a structured maintenance record it can work from. The airworthiness determination stays with your A&P mechanic.

See how it works

One-time $250–$600 per tail · first aircraft free

A paper work order read by Atlas: structured maintenance actions with part and serial number fields and Replacement and Testing tags. Identifying details are redacted.
What Atlas reads from the paper. Each entry keeps its source page.
Built for the shop

The job goes past saving the photos.

Which entry supports those hours? Where is the inspection recorded? What history is missing? A shop needs answers it can trace. Cloudline Logbook is shop-grade records intelligence: the paper, structured and cited, with a Status Determination to review.

A photo preserves the page

A photo backup gives you a copy of the paper. Someone still has to read it and piece together the maintenance history.

A cited record supports the review

Atlas structures entries, parts, hours, and inspections. Every claim links to the page that supports it.

The mechanic keeps the call

The Status Determination shows what the records support and where history is missing. Your A&P reviews the evidence and makes the airworthiness determination.

The deliverable

A Status Determination, cited to the page

Atlas reads and structures the maintenance history. The report brings together recorded status, due items, and gaps. Follow a claim back to its source entry.

Cloudline Logbook Status Determination for a demo aircraft, with Overdue, Due Soon, and Compliant groups.
Demo aircraft shown. These are records findings for a mechanic to review.

The airworthiness determination stays with your A&P. Cloudline reports what the records show. The Status Determination is not an airworthiness approval or a maintenance sign-off.

This is Cloudline Logbook. The same product for digitization, ongoing records work, and a pre-buy records review. See Logbook → See the pre-buy review →

How it works

From paper logbooks to a record your shop can use

Start with one tail. No special scanner required.

01

Send the logbooks

Photograph the pages or upload existing scans. PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, and TIFF are supported. Your first aircraft is free.

02

Atlas reads the paper

Every page is read. Maintenance entries, parts, hours, and inspections become a structured record, linked to the source scans.

03

Review the evidence

Your shop gets a cited Status Determination. Missing or unreadable history is flagged for review. Gaps stay visible.

04

Keep the record useful

The Living Logbook is included. Add new entries to the same aircraft record, so the next job starts with the history already organized.

FAQ

Before you send the books

How does this compare with BetterPlane or a DIY photo backup?

For a GA shop, the useful output is a cited maintenance record and a Status Determination. That is what Cloudline Logbook delivers. A photo archive preserves images; your shop still needs to read the history and trace each finding to its source. Cloudline does that records work, with one-time pricing per tail.

Is this a separate product from Logbook?

No. Aircraft logbook digitization runs on Cloudline Logbook. Atlas reads the paper and returns the same cited Status Determination. The Living Logbook is included.

What if a page is missing or hard to read?

Missing history and unreadable pages are flagged for review. The report shows the gaps. An unsupported claim is not treated as verified.

Does Cloudline determine whether the aircraft is airworthy?

No. The Status Determination reports what the records show and cites the supporting pages. Your A&P mechanic makes the airworthiness determination and retains responsibility for the sign-off.

How do we get the first aircraft free?

Use “Run your first aircraft free” to tell us where to start. Send the logbooks for one aircraft. Atlas reads the records and returns a cited Status Determination.
